⁓ explorer of inner landscapes ⁓ Sometimes calm as a hazy forest lake, sometimes a post-apocalyptic ritual, a rare vertigo, the kind that arises when a human looks into the machine's eyes..and sees its reflection. His works are usually influenced by mystical, spiritual and metaphysical topics. His music is hazy, textural and dark, guides the listeners on a complex and poignant metaphorical journey evoking self-reflection. Zságer has been pushing the boundaries of music since the early 2000s and as the mastermind behind Zagar he has produced many studio albums and soundtracks. His tracks were remixed by producers like Deadbeat , Minilogue, Terry Lee Brown, Jr. and Vakula among others. He was also the co-writer of Yonderboi 's Shallow and Profound album. His debut solo work, Aqua Obscura released in 2024. After years of playing in a band, he has circled back to his childhood dream: creating music with synthesizers. Over the recent years, he has delved into experimenting with various electronic instruments, ranging from vintage analog synths to cutting-edge modulars. He has performed at various art festivals like Live Cinema Rome, Patchlab Art Festival, Vision of Sound London, Synästhesie CHB Berlin and Inota Festival. He is the resident of the Budapest based event series 'Transcendent Waves', featuring numerous contemporary electronica producers like Abul Mogard, Ábris Gryllus, Aiwa, yibai and more.
