Woundstripe

Woundstripe was founded on the year 2017 in Finland, Kuopio. Miro Paasineva (Guitar), Aleksi Korhonen (Guitar/Backing Vocalist) and Jukka Huotari started as a trio and later Jalmari Salmela (Vocalist) joined the band in 2018 Woundstripe had a few members before the final group was formed. Esa Laukkanen from Licuation (Bass) until the permanent bass player was found. Marianne Heikkinen played few gigs and replaced Jukka in need (Drums). Both members were temporary. In 2019 Roope Kajaan joined and filled the bass. In 2019 Woundstripe was accepted to Rock Academy program in Finland, Kuopio. Rock Academy raised the band to a new level and gave the resources to make the first single - Forced to Stay. The 2 year journey in Rock Academy ended in 2021. 2023 Summer Aleksi Parviainen joined the band and replace Jalmari Salmela Woundstripe is filled with guitar solos, heavy riffs, rock hard bass 'n' drums and rough vocals and singing Woundstripe is influenced by heavy metal, metal and hard rock.
