Woody Platt

As a founding member of Steep Canyon Rangers, Woody has helped guide and grow what started as a group of friends playing bluegrass together at the University of North Carolina into one of the most recognizable names in roots music. Across more than two decades together, the band has topped the Billboard Chart, received Grammy and IBMA awards, recorded and toured with actor/musician Steve Martin, and performed at some of the most prestigious festivals and venues in the world.
