Wooden Veins

Wooden Veins is a melodic doom metal band formed by Chilean musicians primarily based in various European countries, with HQ in Berlin, Germany. The band’s sound is rooted in classic doom metal, enriched with progressive and gothic elements, and further diversified with influences that bring a heavier and Latin flavor to their music. The band's debut album, “In Finitude”, was released in 2021 to widespread acclaim. It was highly praised by the specialized press and featured in numerous "Best of 2021" lists. The album also earned a nomination for Best Metal Album at the Premios Pulsar Chile, the most prestigious music awards in Chile. In 2023, Wooden Veins released their highly anticipated second album, “Imploding Waves” , which continued to receive excellent reviews from critics. The album was once again nominated for Best Metal Album at the Premios Pulsar Chile, solidifying the band's status in the metal scene. The band embarked on a successful European tour in 2024, performing at renowned festivals such as Metal Gates (RO), Darken the Moon (B), and Under the Doom (PT). Their powerful live performances received an excellent response from audiences across the continent. Currently, WoodenVeins is working on new music and preparing some exciting releases for 2025.
