WLKRZ

Hailing from beautiful Lowell, Massachusetts, WLKRZ (pronounced Walkers) is a power pop band formed as a studio project in 2016 by bassist Dillon Higgins & singer/guitarist Philip Salemi. By 2019, the group had expanded beyond the studio; adding Sean Gallagher on drums, Brendan Sullivan on rhythm guitar, and “Pistol” Pete Gavriel on keys. They are no strangers to the local scene with members playing in past & present groups such as Class Struggle, Subpunch, Rüe, The Lion’s Share, Spoke Card, and Caught Dead. Their sound blends elements of rudimentary rock & roll, punk rock, jangle pop, shoegaze, post-punk, garage, psych, and everything in between. WLKRZ is for slackers & lovers. ENJOY ❤️‍🔥
