WHERE SIBERIA ENDED
Rock / Indie Rock / Punk Rock
Where Siberia Ended defines the joint between post-punk, alternative rock and grunge. The Delft-based band has sculped their own distinctive sound, while being inspired by bands like Pearl Jam, Joy Division and Editors. Their music is not only a sincere response to troubles in anxious times, it's also about making choices and struggles in life.
It's the dark baritone vocals of Eddie Neilson (who originates from Scotland) that embodies the multilayered sound of Where Siberia Ended, guided by his steady bass work, the melodic and colourful guitar parts of Thijs van der Kooij and Joeri Klees and the dynamic drum playing of Frido Kloostra.
With the release of the five-song EP Dead End City, Where Siberia Ended introduced itself formally in 2019. It led to some captivating and well-received shows, like their noteworthy support for Last Train.
"A voice that really pulls you into the music. It's reminiscent of Chris Cornell the music sounds like a mix of Editors and Snow Patrol."

After a cryosleep of three years the band made its way back to the studio for recording their 2nd EP titled 'Scar Tissue'. It came out on March 1st, 2024. This release marks the beginning of the next chapter in the band's musical career.
