 The single's lyrical material is a heartfelt, beautifully nuanced exploration of emotion, expression, and the things we oh-so-wished we said. More specifically, 'Jenny' exists as a reflection on that which Watty describes as "what a large percentage of Australian men can't seem to do as well as they'd like to: express their emotions, and support their partners as a result". And yet, the single is far from accusatory. Supportive, engaging and downright beautiful in its detail, the colour and humanity with which Watty writes seems to radiate throughout.
