Taking inspiration from the likes of The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Marty Robbins and The Mamas and Papas, singing guitarist Aaron Tormey started writing for a project that would later become rock ‘n’ roll collective Waterpistol. Reflecting his vision, the six-piece combines the celestial makeup of 90s shoegaze with the late 60s unfolding of folk, jazz, and the blues. The band’s first single ‘Living in a Dream’ is a dream-like and visceral track with an underlying tongue-in-cheek delivery, referring to the grind of the 9 to 5. Waterpistol's highly anticipated second release 'Où est ton âme?' Honed in on their blend of 60s and 90s psychedelia, giving fans more of everything the band promised.
