Viah

Viah is an electronic band that does their own thing – experimenting with synthesizers that happen to be within reach, singing and dancing. Gentle harmonies of two vocals combined with dance beats. Band members: Vi Tranová, Rosalie Malinská, Tomáš Martínek + VJ Nina Sibinská Viah became the 2019 winners of Czeching, a contest held by Radio Wave, having been named the most export-ready band in the Czech Republic by an international jury. They have played over 100 concerts (out of them 20 abroad). Among others, they have played at Sziget 2023 and Colours of Ostrava 2023. “Having gone through the local version of American Idol as well as Radio Wave’s own competition for undiscovered artists, viah entered Czeching a seasoned veteran, although still at the very beginning of her career. Her debut album Tears of a Giant is almost tailor-made for the scope of international showcase festivals.
