Veslemøy Narvesen

Veslemøy Narvesen is a Norwegian drummer, composer and producer currently based in the city of Trondheim (NO). Known as one of the leading, up-and-coming jazz-musicians of the Norwegian scene, she has marked herself with groups like Mall Girl, Schemes Quartet, Kongle Trio, Benjamín Gísli Trio, Trondheim Jazz Orchestra, Amalie Dahl’s Dafnie and Mona Krogstad Quartet, as well as collaborations with musicians such as Arve Henriksen, Mats Eilertsen, Tore Brunborg, Mette Rasmussen, Ingebrigt Håker Flaten, Anja Lauvdal and Harald Lassen. She has also worked with several artists within the singer/songwriter scene like Malin Pettersen, Johanna Reine-Nilsen, Mathias Angelhus, Hilja, Beth McBride and the Norwegian Grammy Award-winning artist Moddi. Her first release as a soloartist presents her varied style as a creator, displaying music with influence from pop, contemporary jazz and chambermusic among others. The full debutalbum was released on Jazzland Recordings in October of 2023, earning the title of "This falls finest Norwegian album" by Audun Vinger in Dagens Næringsliv.
