Velvet Wasted

Velvet Wasted is a modern four-piece rock band hailing from the south of Austria. Easily shifting between different genres, their songs are about the duality of life, different sides of the same coin - yin and yang, the Velvet and the Wasted. With a strong friendship as the foundation and driving force, Velvet Wasted is a true DIY band, making music about matters of the heart and soul. Their rich sound blends mid-90s nostalgia with modern indie rock aesthetics, creating music that embodies all shades of life. From dark to bright, quiet to loud - Always with the goal of building a home for human feelings. Since their founding in 2020, the band has excited crowds in major Austrian and German cities with their electrifying live performances and has gained airtime on several European radio stations, including Austria’s No. 1 alternative radio station, FM4, which has compared Velvet Wasted’s sound to indie rock legends Kings of Leon. Several releases are expected in 2025.
