Vallory Falls

Hailing from Vermont, Vallory Falls is a force of energetic pop punk desperation; a heart-on-the-sleeve remedy to the angst felt in the shadow of the great Green Mountains. From its formation in 2021, the band has shown its diversity with releases “Rosie” and “This Too Shall Pass”. With themes of longing, regret and the fear of change, their music resonates with the disadvantaged underbelly of New England’s own. Massachusetts native and frontman Tristan Gilliss saw the band as an opportunity to make a statement. In the midst of a move north, He enlisted bassist Riley Burridge after seeing them play in a benefit concert in South Burlington. Riley played only one show on bass before the departure of founding members guitarist Kat Delitto and drummer Matt Wilson, coinciding with Gilliss’ move. Knowing of Riley’s time drumming in college bands at Lyndon State, Gilliss asked about an instrument change. With their unique palette of music taste and an insatiable desire to prosper, Riley dutifully assumed the role. Days later, the duo drove to the US/CA border to pick up a used kit. Within weeks, they'd found a bassist in Dan Lecours of Michigan. Having moved to VT for work, Dan was the dry humored, calm and collected force securing the bands’ ability to play shows. 2023 saw further lineup changes in the indelible melodic experience brought by guitarist Meghan Burke, a veteran of numerous staple punk bands in VT.
