Combining the hazy atmosphere of The Brian Jonestown Massacre, the effortless cool of Oasis, and the melodic hooks of Alvvays, TV Star makes psychy, 90s-alternative influenced rock that appeals to traditionalists and guitar pop fans alike. Formed in Seattle, the band is comprised of singer Ashlyn Nagel, guitarists Che Hise-Gattone and Bryan Coats, bassist Mark Palm and drummer Tucker Devault-Weaver. Their DIY approach to writing and recording resulted in 2023 EPs Hallucinate Me and TV3, both of which received praise and features from Stereogum, Paste, Creem Magazine and KEXP.
