tokky horror

Formed in 2020 and disbanded in 2024, Tokky Horror was a collective comprised of founding members Zee Davine (production), Ava Akira (vocals) + Mollie Rush (vocals), with members Drian Nash (Guitar), Jack Hendri (Drums) + Abbi Philips (Drums) joining live for various performances across the bands lifespan. Forming virtually across various U.K. cities but based in Birkenhead, Merseyside, the bands sound comprised of what Davine described as "making punk music electronically" + "using DAW's and samplers like an 80s hardcore band would use a guitar". The band's brash take on electronic music infused elements of jungle, breakcore and techno together with hardcore + queercore punk. Described by Rolling Stone as "Bikini Kill covering the Blade soundtrack".
