The Great Machine

On 11.11.2011 The Great Machine played their first show in their own club in Tel-Aviv. In 2013 they recorded their first EP, in 2014 their debut album, and in 2015 the double LP 'LOVE' - released on vinyl by 'Rock Freaks Records’ in DE. TGM has the uncanny ability of belonging to multiple scenes due to their inability to belong to any specific one. "Rock&Roll" sees them as “Metalheads”, and the Metal scene calls them “Hippies”. These conservative perceptions did not stop them from shaking up the local Indie scene in Israel, while creating an alternative of their own. In the fall of 2016 they headed out on a UK & Europe tour as the opening act for 'All Them Witches’, which paved the way for many more shows across Europe & the UK. In the spring of 2017 they had another successful tour in Europe, which got them signed by the legendary booking label 'Sound of Liberation'. This tour concluded in Leipzig, where they recorded their third album 'Respect', and on the following winter came the fourth album 'Greatestits'. Both were released in 2018. In 2018 the band opened for Ozzy in Israel, and played numerous Euro shows alongside Om, Fu Manchu, 1000mods, Kadavar, Acid King' & Patty Smith. Their performance at Desertfest London got them an endorsement from Orange Amps. When Covid19 hit TGM quickly started an underground club in Tel Aviv, where they performed with many other bands and recorded their fifth album ‘Funrider’, which was released via Berlin based label 'Noisolution'.
