The Dimestore Cowboys

The Dimestore Cowboys US

Country / Americana/Alt Country
The Dimestore Cowboys are a six-piece Appalachian alt/country rock band. Hailing from Johnson City, TN, the band originally formed in 2012 and has had several stellar line-ups through the years. Influenced by bands like Drive-By Truckers, Sturgill Simpson, and Dwight Yoakam, their unique style fuses powerful vocals with hard-driving instrumentation, creating a traditional country sound with a not-so-traditional attitude. Fans praise the band for their soulful lyrics, centered around the struggles of living in the rural south and the ever-present pain of heartbreak, as well as their dynamic musicianship. Dimestore have performed over 300 shows, released 4 albums, including their latest, Let's Try This Again, and show no signs of slowing down. "... The Dimestore Cowboys out of Johnson City, Tennessee have that blue-collar, local honky tonk feel to them, imbuing the band with the authenticity that results in international appeal for those who know what country music is supposed to sound like, and be about. These are real songs from real folks, a little rough around the edges, but bolstered by brutal honesty, and a mastery of twang and the Outlaw country half beat." -Saving Country Music/ Trigger. For updates on new music and upcoming shows, visit https://linktr.ee/DimestoreCowboys.
