Thanateros

THANATEROS is back! After a ten-years break in 2019 THANATEROS returned with a new line-up. In September 2019 the album Insomnia was released. In mid-2020 the band signed a record deal with ECHOZONE and in November of that year together they released Insomnia as a special edition. In addition to the full album, Insomnia S.E. selected songs as a pure instrumental version. On February 11, 2022 the first single "Coven of the Drowned" of the upcoming album "On Fragile Wings" was released and on March 11th the second single Fading. The album was released on March 24th. In December the production of "Tranceforming" started and THANATEROS were very happy to have Simon Rippin back as producer. As they had to part ways with drummer Markus Felber at short notice, Simon stepped in as drummer and recorded the songs. Guitars, violins, vocals and much more were then recorded in January. Unfortunately, bassist Chrys Ryll had to leave the band for personal reasons, but a first-class bassist was quickly found in MarT Møller. Production has now been completed and three pre-release singles have already been released: I Am All, The Horned One and I Hold You, the videos of which have already met with a very positive response. The album Tranceforming will be released on 11 October, after which THANATEROS hope to be able to present the new work live on many stages – especially in 2025…
