Teiger

Teiger are an alternative trio based in London, UK. With a sound meandering through quiet metal and bright acoustic rock, Teiger create a rich and melancholic atmosphere that’s both fragile and occasionally furious. An intriguing peace treaty between indie and psychedelia, Teiger (pronounced “tiger”) are wilfully hard to pin down. Combining a soft-metal aesthetic with elements of early 70s prog without being indulgent or overblown, the trio’s ethereal, shadowy sound is tinged with playful ferocity. No genre title describes Teiger’s haunting, imaginative landscape exactly. The band’s eponymous debut album was launched at The London Underworld late 2023, to critical acclaim. Produced in Wales by Teiger and Mike Bew at Foel Studio (Porcupine Tree, Dresden Dolls, The Wildhearts etc.), it was then mastered in Sweden by David Castillo (Opeth, Leprous, Katatonia etc.).
