In October 2023, when solo artist Isaac Tariq Sawyer released his first EP “i’m Just a Kid”-- which mostly was recorded in the basement of a residence hall at UW-Whitewater, he had no idea what spark he would light inside of himself. He started this all for fun but now it is becoming a part of who he is as a person. Music has always been a part of Isaac’s life whether it was him writing songs in his notebook in class or him just enjoying music. Every day he is improving and learning more about music so he can create better songs for his listeners. Tariq has a different style to his music, it’s not as traditional as some artists. He has this fun, youthful, energetic, and loving vibe. He may still only be at the beginning of his musical journey but when listening to the discography you can tell there is real work and time put into it. He’s still got so much ahead of him and this musical path he’s on!
