Sun Atoms

Peter Holmström of The Dandy Warhols produced and plays bass in this buzzing new Portland supergroup, Sun Atoms, fronted by veteran artist Jsun Atoms (The Upsidedown, Daydream Machine, Pete International Airport). The band “fuses styles and sounds like a long lost Basquiat painting found deep in space among comets and stars.” - Maximum Volume, and Vegan Brooklyn says their debut album Let There Be Light, “is a tripped out opus packed with droning electronics, shimmering guitars, dayglo melodies and a deep, whispered delivery, mixed by Smiths/Blur producer Stephen Street, and featuring Alex Maas of The Black Angels.”
