SPADES

Spades is the sonic brainchild of Chicago/ Denver based Joe Grothe. Inspired by an array of different musical styles, textures, and backgrounds, he has emerged onto the scene as someone constantly pushing the boundaries between sub genres - with a result that is usually just as hard hitting as it is conceptual. With releases on WormHole, SubCarbon, and Bassrush, supplemented by a healthy stream of self released singles and EPs, Spades is set to breakout as a force in the bass music scene in 2024.
