Silvia Ponce Marti

Film director, multimedia artist and musician Silvia Ponce Marti tries to push the boundaries of artistic genres with each of her projects. She studied classical cello, an instrument she began playing at the age of 3, graduating with honors in Vienna. Her creative vision is based on challenging and merging traditional artistic formats and disciplines with modern elements, using art as a vehicle to criticize social injustices. Her artistic path has led her to compose, arrange and perform music for various projects, most notably her first album with the band "The Golden Fields" ("Sunny Side of the Street", 2016), together with acclaimed opera singer Marina Viotti and guitarist Fabian Baumgartner, which fused world and jazz influences.
