Sage Bond began performing at the age of 13 in a slew of bands in varying genres. Starting off performing at karaoke night with her mother, she outgrew stage fright and swiftly started her career as a singer-songwriter. In 2014, Bond released a self-titled EP which was nominated for the NAMMY award, Best Female Vocalist in 2016. While earning an Associate of Arts degree, Bond also tried out for The Voice and American Idol, and received immense support from her community, fans and family. In 2018, the Prisoner album debuted and has been her most popular release to date, including the track "Ready to Fight" from the SHILOH documentary by Mark Williams. During the coronavirus pandemic and while in quarantine in her home on the Navajo Nation, Bond recorded and released the single "Truth" along with her first music video debut, working with videographer, Deidra Peaches, during the weekly lockdowns on the Navajo Nation. A part of proceeds from "Truth" was donated to a hospital in need of personal protective equipment. During her musical career, Bond has also composed for string quartet and opera as a student in the Native American Composers Apprentice Project and has served as an advocate for suicide prevention and mental health awareness.
