Ruin Dweller

Ruin Dweller are a Madison, WI based death metal band formed in the fall of 2016.  Drawing influences from death metal, black metal, sludge, and crust, we seek to create dismal and forbidding homages to a bleak future. Blending tortured melodies with raw thrash and crushing low end grit we channel disillusionment and cathartic aggression.     All members have cut their teeth prior in  underground metal bands such as: Gloam, Panther, Vermillion, Black Goat, and Whorelord.   After much reflection in the wasteland dirge that was the pandemic years Ruin Dweller has returned with a new EP entitled Apocalyptic Ruin in 2024. The album sees the band further sinking our teeth into the dirt and filth that has defined us but also introducing some new twists and turns. All while holding the intention of creating the evilest and darkest music possible as law.
