ROZIE
Pop / Mainstream Pop
Rozie is a blooming singer/song writer from Vancouver, BC, Canada whose sun tinged R&B sound seeks to convey the best aspects of her bubbly personality.
Rozie's passion for music started at a young age, as she begged her parents for piano lessons, eventually completing her Royal Conservatory Certification.
Not long after, she signed up for a local singing competition and won at just 13 years of age. She continued to compete as a vocalist through her teens, eventually signing with a local label at 16 and putting out her first album at 20.
Following these achievements, Rozie strived to continue developing herself independently and began working with producer Waspy (of Dirty Radio). The two ignited a lightning like chemistry that manifested a new and unique style.
Earlier this year, she released her first single ‘Brown Sugar’ which received support from a number of online publications including Earmilk and RnB Motion.
Subconsciously drawing influences from artists like Erykah Badu, Tom Misch, SZA, The Internet, Sade, and Alicia Keys; Rozie blends multiple sounds together while injecting a brand new spin all her own.
