Royston Noell is a proud Thanakwith and Wagadagam man from Mapoon, a remote community in Far North Queensland. Known for his soulful voice and heartfelt storytelling, Royston first captured Australia’s attention in 2023 as the winner of Australian Idol. But his journey didn’t stop there. Blending his cultural heritage with contemporary pop and R&B influences, Royston’s music is a celebration of self-discovery, resilience, and joy. His debut EP Sunrise (coming soon) reflects his journey of growth and embracing life’s highs and lows, featuring songs like the infectious dance anthem Feeling Good and Dreaming.
