Rona Mac

I’m Rona Mac, an alt-folk artist from West Wales. I’ve been making music and gigging my whole life, and I’ve come to a beautiful place with it as a solo artist. Independent and grassroots, I’ve learned to manage every part of the music creation and business myself, which means it remains a very intuition-led craft at all levels. I’m proud of where I’ve got to—not because I haven’t worked my ass off, but because I have. With some collaborations coming out this year and another LP in the works, it’s an exciting time. Making music feels as embedded in my psyche as walking and sleeping. It’s a privilege to spend time crafting and grafting at it, and for it to be so well received is an added bonus. I’ll keep songwriting as I keep breathing, always humbled by the long road ahead.
