Romina Johnson

Romina Johnson is best known for the Artful Dodger remixed, monster dance hit “Moving Too Fast” which reached UK chart position # 2 in the year 2000. Romina was born in Rome, Italy into a musical family… in which her American father who, having started as a bass player and having left the USA in pursuit of his own career, became an accomplished singing artiste/musician selling over 12 million copies throughout his career. Also, her mother is an avid music lover who’s music collection, contained a wide variety of music including Soul, Jazz, Funk, and R&B. As a result, artists like Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Anita Baker, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, The O'Jays, Earth Wind & Fire and Prince (just to name a few) would later become influences… but even by the age of 4, Romina already knew that she wanted to be a singer!
