Ritmo Cascabel

Ritmo Cascabel burst onto Denver’s music scene in late 2021 bringing a fresh fusion of cumbia, western, and rock ‘n’ roll that quickly became a local sensation. Their semi-regular “Cumbia Nights” have become a vibe on the south broadway strip, showcasing latin bands, djs, music, food and culture at beloved Denver venue: the Hi-Dive. Paired with their unique style, the band’s high-energy, dance-inducing sound has captivated audiences across North America and beyond. In 2022 - 2024 in support of their initial EP and debut LP they toured the entirety of the United States West Coast, made stops in Mexico City and Canada, as well as appearances at Seattle’s Freakout Festival, Austin’s SXSW, & Boise’s Treefort Fest. While in Ciudad de México they recorded their debut LP at La Bestia, which released in August 2023, blending cumbia, salsa, and psych rock into their distinct cumbiadelica style. With plans for a European tour in the Spring of 2025 and a new record in the works, Ritmo Cascabel is already shaping up to be one of the most exciting new acts in Latin fusion music.
