Rick Faris

Rick Faris is an 8 Time IBMA Award winner. Most recently in 2024 for “Songwriter of the Year” and in 2022 for “New Artist of the Year” and many more earned during his 11 year tenure in Special Consensus recording 6 albums with the band. First 3 on mandolin (35, Scratch Gravel Road and Country Boy: A Bluegrass Tribute to John Denver) then switching to guitar for the last 3 records (Long I Ride, Rivers and Roads, and Chicago Barn Dance) Rick with his combined efforts is a 2 time Grammy-Nominated (Best Bluegrass Album) and 7 time International Bluegrass Music Award Winner. Rick is off to a great start pursuing his solo career and getting his music out to the bluegrass masses. Rick's last record “The Next Mountain” topped the bluegrass album charts at #1 multiple times in the 22 months in the top 10 albums for Roots Music Report. Known for his a clear brilliant tenor voice that lends itself to all emotions of the music. Rick has a strong, unique lead vocal and a guitar persona that sets him apart from the rest.
