Pressing Strings

Pressing Strings is an American group based out of Maryland tied loosely to soul, rock, and americana roots music. Merging old and new influences in a manner that is not easily defined, lead singer Jordan Sokel's unmistakable voice beautifully carries poignant and uplifting lyricism over a groovy and dynamic rhythm section (Justin Kruger/Drums, Nick Welker/Bass). In 2024 they released their third full length album in 4 years with they're latest "Minutes to Midnight" capturing the band in full swing with the addition of keys/guitar extraordinaire Austin Day taking the group from trio to quartet heading into a full 2025 touring schedule.
