Poisson Rouge is a high-energy modern Cajun band from Vermilion Parish, Louisiana—celebrated as the "Most Cajun Place on Earth." They bring dance floors to life with a distinctive sound that stays true to their Cajun roots while pulsing with the influence of rock, jazz, zydeco, and R&B. Founded in 2019 and led by the dynamic singer-songwriter and accordionist Kylie Griffin, Poisson Rouge blends soulful French lyrics with irresistible rhythms for a fresh yet grounded take on Cajun music. With half the band also serving as music educators, they’re passionate about sharing and evolving Louisiana’s cultural legacy.
