P.H.0 is New York City's latest offering—a self-described “SILKPUNK” quartet many consider is transforming the local scene. They seamlessly blend metal, techno, drum n' bass, ethereal ambient, visceral synths, and traditional East Asian musical elements, most notably the haunting melodies of the Chinese erhu, creating an expansive and dynamic soundscape that defies genre and evokes a traditional Taoist ritual colliding with a hardcore mosh pit under a wash of crimson neon—a potent combination unleashed in their explosive live rituals. The silkpunk quartet continues to make waves, tearing up stages at NYC's top indie fests like New Colossus and Rogue Music Festival, and taking third place at Our Wicked Lady's Winter Madness Battle of the Bands (2024).
