Michael Engel, known as Overtracked, is a rising star in the tech house, minimal house, and deep house scenes. Hailing from the vibrant house and techno culture of Zeeland and Rotterdam, Overtracked has transformed from a promising newcomer into a key player in the music world. His impressive career features three studio albums and numerous singles and EPs, all celebrated for their infectious blend of punchy kicks, sharp stabs, synths, and invigorating acid sounds. This signature style not only defines his recordings but also energizes his live performances. Overtracked has released music on notable labels such as Armada, Inly, Nopreset Limited, and Reshape Black, highlighting his versatility and broad appeal. Beyond his work as a producer and DJ, Overtracked is a dynamic force in the industry. Since 2016, he has co-hosted Housekult, a popular event in Zeeland, alongside Benjamin Scott. In 2021, he founded OVT Records, a label dedicated to showcasing his work and nurturing emerging talent in his network.
