Oberer Totpunkt

::OT:: is the music project of the Hamburg singer/songwriter Bettina Bormann and the drummer/composer Michael Krüger. The spoken word rocks! ::OT:: combines electro, wave, EBM and rock elements with German lyrics. While the sound concept is guided by darkly morbid sound worlds and massive beats by Michael Krüger, the recitations with the apocalyptic lyrics of the front woman Bettina Bormann take the place of singing. Oberer Totpunkt is marketed by their label Danse Macabre as a representative of the New German Art of Death. ::OT:: has released six studio albums on the Wave-Gothic label Danse Macabre Records and performs live as a duo or with other live musicians: Sebastian Rack (guitar), Denis Scheither (keyboard), Christiane Schmidt (Vocals, Keyboard), Reaktor4 (performance ).
