NŌUR project is a musical encounter between the opera singer Nour Ben Cheikh Larbi and the musician producer Mohamed Hmida. Born in May 2000, she began music lessons at the "Conservatoire National De Tunis" at the age of six. She started playing the piano at the age of eight and eventually obtained the national diploma in Arabic music at the age of fourteen. It wasn't until she was fifteen that the hidden talent of this prodigious singer was discovered when she joined the lyrical singing workshop within the same institution. It can be said that she didn't wait long before making her first appearance as a singer, and she has never stopped since then. During this modest career, Nour had the opportunity to join the Tunisian Youth Orchestra, where she could collaborate with other artists from various disciplines and showcase her talent to other artists and, of course, to her audience. She also performed from 2022 to 2024 with the musical project "Ocelosia Band," which is a collective that covers famous cartoon theme songs, turning them into hits for an audience that grew up with these songs. Nour is among the founding members of this project and is considered a star or leader of it. Since its creation, the project has toured regularly in Tunisia, always performing to full houses and receiving considerable media coverage.
