New Wave Kill

The dynamic Goth-Post Punk band from Madrid has unveiled their debut album, Stitches for the Soul, released on October 25, 2024, via Esmerarte. The band led by singer and guitarist Felipe Vein who is accompanied by keyboardist Iulia Richea, bassist Nico Aguirre, drummer Víctor Ferrero and guitarist Jake Feijóo, has quickly made a name for themselves in the Post Punk and Dark Wave scene. With roots in classic post-punk, dark wave, and gothic rock, the band brings a fresh intensity to their sound, which has captured the attention of international media. Post Punk Online describes them as “a Madrid-based quartet primed to leave an indelible mark on gothic rock with their razor-sharp approach.” The band’s sound is influenced by the atmospheric tones of Joy Division, the ethereal qualities of Chelsea Wolfe, and the melancholic energy of The Smiths. New Wave Kill blends introspective lyricism with dark instrumentation, earning recognition as one of the most promising voices in the current alternative music scene. Their journey began in 2022 with Cold Night and Maze of the Devil, which introduced their unique sound. In 2023, they released Between Shadows, followed by Your Way and Quemar in 2024, both leading to their debut album. With Stitches for the Soul, New Wave Kill is carving out their own space in alternative music, promising a lasting impact on the post-punk and dark wave genres.
