Atlanta punk band New Junk City writes heartfelt, catchy songs that have been described as “Tom Petty as played by Green Day.” One savvy reviewer supposed that they must have spent their childhood listening to their parents’ Gin Blossoms CD in the car, which the band is fine with, except it wasn’t their parents’, and it was definitely a Blink-182 CD.
