New Diplomat

New Diplomat is an American Indie - Electronic / Synth Pop band out of San Francisco, California. Made up of members from 3 separate countries. Originally formed in 2011, the band has taken many forms since. As of 2022, New Diplomat consists of vocalist Horacio O’Brien-Ferres, guitarist Paolo Von Giordano, and drummer Carlos Rodrigues. Together they’ve fashioned a mix of their influences such as New Wave, Brit-pop, Synth-pop, and indie-rock. Over the last few years, New Diplomat has worked with producers such as Dan the Automator (Gorillaz), and Jeff Saltzman (The Killers and Blondie). They recently released a self-titled album in February 2023, followed by an animation video premiere of the song Away We Go. They currently are preparing for a tour.
