Nathan Mongol Wells

For the past ten years, Nathan Mongol Wells has been the chief songwriter and frontman of the raucous outlaw country-garage rock fourpiece Ottoman Turks, quietly performing solo all the while. With two Ottoman Turks albums out on Dallas label State Fair Records, and international accolades from the likes of Rolling Stone, Texas Monthly, and American Songwriter under his belt, Wells aims to show the world another side of his talent with a solo record, further exhibiting the depth of his songwriting, humor, and showmanship. Produced by John Pedigo with co-production by Joshua Ray Walker, the album is slated for August 2023 on State Fair Records.
