Multi disciplinary artist, composer, DJ and research fellow at Stellenbosch university, Mo Laudi is the first South African black curator to curate a group exhibition in Paris. He was the first South African DJ, Producer to create weekly residencies in London and Paris introducing cutting edge Afro electronic sounds as Afro house, Kwaito ,Afro-tech, to the London scene. blending techno, House, disco, with Gqom, Amapiano and experimental sounds without skipping a beat is his forte. Over the years he has performed in over 50 countries, festivals such Glastonbury(UK), Melt(Germany), Roskilde(Sweden), Fuji Rock(Japan) . Amongst the luminaries, He has programmed in festivals, clubs across the world with the likes of Black Coffee, DJ Gregory, Carl Craig, Myd, Yuksek to count few. As a sound artist his first participation in a group exhibition was at Centre Pompidou. His Performances and work has since been in Palais de Tokyo, Cartier foundation, Louis Vuitton Foundation, Martel foundation, Sonsbeek and many others. Whether creating soundart, or dance floor bangers, museum performances or night club, festival performance , Mo Laudi has an emotional connection with the audience, creating a sonic texture that transports the listener moving the hips, the heart and the mind to a spiritual dimension!
