Mick Coates & the Shallow Gravediggers

The resonant baritone of Mick Coates has cast a spell over many an audience, from pubs across central Victoria, to the ancient hills of Mutawintji, far west New South Wales, and the tropical haunts of the Northern Territory. He is a collector of stories, songs and people, and shares what he finds generously. "You don’t have to dig very deep to uncover the truth or the odd skeleton, stories that need to be told.
