Mannequin Death Squad

Mannequin Death Squad (MDS) is an instrument swapping, rock/punk band from Melbourne, Australia. Mixing catchy pop melodies with ferocious punk rock riffs, and an infectiously energetic live show. Touring worldwide completely DIY, MDS have shared the stage with many including: Suicidal Tendencies, Hollywood Undead, Soulfly, Soft Play, DZ Deathrays, NENA, Frenzal Rhomb and WAAX. The pair recently returned from a 17 date ‘DIY or DIE’ tour, filling venues across Europe concluding with a supporting slot with Soulfly in the south of France. The tour was booked, managed and funded completely by themselves. Prior to this, the band sold out their hometown show at the 250 capacity Bergy Bandroom in Melbourne. The band also showcased at SXSW Sydney for the second year in a row. 2023 featured an appearance at Rebellion Festival (UK), a supporting slot for NENA in Amsterdam and an onslaught of performances across Europe and a headline set at Ziro Festival in the scenic foothills of the Himalayas in Aranachal Pradesh, India. The year was capped off with being handpicked by Mike Muir to support Suicidal Tendencies on their Sold-Out Australian Tour. The band’s debut album “Super Mental Psycho” was co-produced with legendary Australian producer Mark Opitz (AC/DC, INXS, The Angels, Divinyls). Their sophomore album ‘Wise and Dangerous’ is set for release April 4th, 2025 through their own record label 'Riot Love Records', and is to be toured around Australia in April and May.
