Mānbryne
Metal / Black Metal
Mānbryne was formed in 2017 by S. and Renz with an aim to create atmospheric yet fierce black metal with existential undertones and to lyrically explore topics such as faith, religion, the dark side of human nature and their impact on one's reality within and without.
They recruited the drummer Priest, the bassist Wyrd and together recorded their debut album "Heilsweg: O udręce ciała i tułaczce duszy" (Eng: Of Carnal Torment and Wandering of the Soul). The album was released in April 2021 by the joined forces of Polish label Malignant Voices and Terratur Possessions from Norway. It was received well in the black metal underground, gained noticeable attention and quickly put Mānbryne in the spotlight as a capable newcomer to the scene. The band decided to promote the album only by a couple of shows locally in Poland.
In the meantime, Priest decided to leave the band and was replaced by a worthy successor by the name of Vzn.
In 2023 the band recorded and released their second album "Interregnum: O próbie wiary i jarzmie zwątpienia" (Of the Test of Faith and the Burden of Doubt), once again released by Malignant Voices and Terratur Possessions in October.
