Lesoir

Lesoir, a Maastricht-based five-piece band formed in 2009, quietly built a global fan base. In 2019, their five-week European tour with prog legends Riverside made a lasting impact. Their self-released album 'Mosaic,' a collaboration with Glassville Records, earned acclaim and chart placements. Despite plans for 20 headline shows in 2020 disrupted by the pandemic, Lesoir responded by releasing the 20-minute 'Babel' on limited handmade vinyl, selling out all 250 copies in four weeks. This release included a one-off live recording and an animated short film by Crystal Spotlight, known for collaborations with Porcupine Tree and Steven Wilson. Lesoir's praised live chemistry and groovy hooks highlight their distinctive songwriting. In December 2022, they began recording their sixth album, 'Push Back The Horizon,' produced by John Cornfield, known for his work with Muse, Kashmir, and others. Collaboration with Paul Reeve, Muse's vocal producer, and recording in Muziekgieterij, Maastricht, and the UK, with mastering by Steve Kitch of The Pineapple Thief, set the stage for a promising release. Autumn 2023 marked Lesoir's successful return to touring Europe with Riverside, gaining new fans. This momentum fueled a busy schedule from November 2023 onward, featuring headline shows and confirmed festival appearances. 'Push Back The Horizon' is set for a global release by V2 Records, known for collaborations with Skunk Anansie, Mumford And Sons, Moby, and Ane Brun.
