Leaf Rapids is a small isolated town in Northern Manitoba where the Aurora Borealis graffiti the winter skies. It is also the borrowed moniker of a Winnipeg band featuring acclaimed songwriting, sweet and smoky harmonies, luscious guitar licks and the eerie sound of the theremin. Critics can’t decide if their sound is cinematic Canadiana, Manitoba Motown, or spacey spaghetti western.
