Kyra Joseph

Amidst Kyra’s emergence as a premier disco-funk & house DJ, she continued to enjoy playing guitar, banjo, and writing songs in her downtime as she did growing up on her rural California family ranch. When touring internationally as a DJ, she continued keeping her singer/songwriter side to herself, in the quiet moments between tour dates. It was an outlet for the darker parts of the human experience, whereas her DJ sets are infamously known for getting the party going until sunrise with a mix of classic, funky and upbeat tunes that put a modern day spin on your timeless favorites. Her experience transitioning from a high-vibe, touring Disco DJ to releasing her debut indie-psych rock single, stemmed from meeting her next-door neighbor, via his appearance on his roof with a guitar, asking to join her in a low-key backyard jam. He was immediately determined to record Kyra's unique sound and hard hitting lyrics… resulting Kyra’s debut single, Perfect Storm... Quite appropriate for 2020. We're looking forward to what's next from this powerhouse, and we know she'll keep us guessing.
