Korby Lenker is the serendipitous Renaissance Man of East Nashville. Singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, author, actor, and podcaster, his newest offering, “Meet Me at the End of the World”, is an emblematic return to the lyrically poignant, emotionally evocative music that has defined a career now tipping into its third decade. A freewheeling troubadour by disposition – touring internationally, publishing fiction, and releasing 8 albums of critically-acclaimed Folk-Americana – Korby took a break after 2021’s Man in the Maroon (which made American Songwriter’s “Best Albums of the Year” list) to write and develop a television pilot loosely based on his life. Morse Code – which Korby co-wrote and in which he stars – spent the 2023-2024 season sailing through the film festival circuit with multiple awards for Best TV Pilot, Best Lead Actor, Best Original Music and more. In the wake of its success, Korby doubled down on his love for people and his perpetual curiosity by launching the Morse Code Podcast, a weekly pod featuring deep dive conversations on creativity and process with high-achieving artists, filmmakers and writers. Now in its second season, the MCP continues its exploration and elevation of art and the people who are driven to make it, featuring Grammy winners, Hall of Fame Songwriters, Tiny Desk Concert veterans, bestselling authors, seasoned actors and dedicated visual artists, with more than 70 episodes in as many weeks (January 2025).
