Katie Martin

Performing across the Southeast since 2006, Katie Martin's unique blend of blues, folk, and soul mesmerizes audiences in a way that has to be seen to understand. She released her acoustic EP " Away From Here" with Haney Records in 2011. In 2015, she released "Live From the Chocolate Room" ft. Tony Brook on slide guitar, and her debut album, "Purpose". Both were recorded, produced,and engineered by Larry Mitchell at The Chocolate Room Studio. In 2017, she released "Live From The Chocolate Room: VOL. II" and released her 2nd album, "Hope" in February of 2018, both also recorded by Grammy Award winning producer Larry Mitchell. Along with songwriting, she also is a Live Looping Artist, which means she composes songs with Loop Pedals for live performances. In 2018 she performed at the 2nd Annual Phillter International Live Looping Festival -Pittsburgh, PA and at Y2K18 International Live Looping Festival -Santa Cruz, CA. 2019 performances included: Texas Loopfest -San Antonio, TX , Mexico Y2K19 International Live Looping Festival - Guadalajara and Mexico City, Mexico , 1st Annual Opelika Songwriters Festival -Opelika, AL , 3rd Annual Phillter International Live Looping Festival -Pittsburgh, PA and at Y2K19 International Live Looping Festival -Santa Cruz, CA. When she isn't touring or playing festivals she's working on new songs and artwork or you can find her playing music in hotel bars, wineries, music venues, and the occasional restaurants across the southeast.
