KAMARA

24 year-old KAMARA is a singer and songwriter with a distinctive voice, charisma, and a powerful presence on and off stage. She is - both literally and metaphorically - a potential voice of a generation.  The ambitious and driven singer was raised in a single-parent household in Bergen, Norway, her mother having fled from Sierra Leone during the civil war.  KAMARA is as hardworking as she is fun and outgoing with "selling out Madison Square Gardens at least once a decade, and a residency in Las Vegas when I'm in my 80's" on her to-do list.  Her catchy, organic, nostalgic feel-good pop music combines addictive melodies and poignant lyrics with her characteristic, classy and instantly identifiable vocals. 
Though obviously current and playful, there is a timeless quality to her sound.
